Help to prevent frostbite?

I previously had frostbite (not so severe that it damaged tissue or caused necrosis or anything like that). I know that once you've had it you are more prone to it again. Every time I have to sit in the cold for a while, it seems to reoccur. I've tried wearing multiple pairs of socks, thermal socks, several different types of gloves, and those little hand and feet warmer things. Nothing seems to work. I have to sit in the cold this weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions (short of staying home!) that I have not tried to prevent it from happening yet again? Thanks

I've got circulation issues in my hands and feet. They always seem to get cold very fast on cold days. Then when they start to thaw they hurt like a..well you know. All you can do is add lost of layers.

don't go in the snow..

THE ONLY SIMPLE THING YOU NEED TO DO IS APPLY BUTTER OR THICK SESAME OIL ON YOUR BODY PARTS THAT ARE MUCH EXPOSED TO COLD AND DONT WASH OFF KEEP IT LIKE THAT.THEY DONT CAUSE HARM .EVEN THEY MAKE SKIN SHINY AND SMOOTH.APPLY A BIT THICKLY .THIS WILL GIVE WARMTH TOO.
