Is this a normal reaction to Frostbite?

I managed to get frostbite on my index finger and Thumb, and now a few weeks later both have blistered and the skin has fallen off. It just surprises me since I hadn't even thought about the frostbite in awhile. It was just a very mild case contact case, I got it from turning the ignition in my car.

You're lucky more than that hasn't fallen off. Seriously, sounds like normal healing. If you have open wounds, though, be sure to give your physician a call in the morning. In the meantime, apply triple antibiotic ointment and leave open to air. Sorry to hear how easily you got frostbite. RN

It sounds like typical frostbite ..
