My big toe has frostbite on it. What's going to happen to it when it stops being purple and bumpy?

It's just the very tip of my toe, and it happened, like, two or three weeks ago, but it's still all weird.

you need to get to a doctor quickly. I have heard of people losing body parts from frostbite & not getting to the doc soon enough. I have 2 friends that are doctors & they told me that so many of their patients could have been saved from so much pain & hurt if they had of only gotten to them sooner. I hope you are not a diabetic!!!

Please go to the doctor. It may look amusing and may not even hurt, but go see the good doc.

that thing is coming off. From what i know its purple and bumpy cause its all dead skin and blood. SEE A DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KNOW!!!

It will get better!

See a doctor. You don't want to get gangrene or something!!

Seriously, gangrene is one possible outcome of a case of frostbite.

Contact a doctor right away!!!!! Take a look at some of the pages I provided links to. It might confirm your diagnosis of gangrene and it will at least get you serious about how serious it can be.

I am not a doctor or anything like that.
