Anxiety attacks and heart attacks/frostbite.?

I'm sorry to confuse you,but have two questions. Not having to do with me.well the one...
1. I've heards, some people can't tell the the differences between an anxiety attack(which I have),and a heart attack.what are the symptoms of a heart attack?

2.It's winter here and very cold if you don't live here.Anyway it seems like everytime I go outside for only 2 minutes. My knuckles turn dark purple(even with proper clothing.)they seem to get worst each time.Like today I was outside for only about 1 min or less and I was pushed in the snow and instantly my hands turned purple.this was 12 hours ago, colors gone except in my knuckles and my arms are still sore.I tried telling some people, but they were too busy cooking.please be a bit more help.thank you.

heart attacks are not always a "elephant on your chest". many people, especially women, don't recognize a heart attack, because they don't get the "classic" heart attack.
see the following NIH website for more info.

About your fingers, this sounds like classic raynaud's syndrome. Below is a NIH link on this. You should talk to your doctor. There are treatments. Also, it can be associated with other diseases you should be checked for.

You need to get your hands checked by the doc to find out what is going on.

this happens to me in winter aswell..my hands and feet turn purple and go huge and swell up..i havnt gone to the doctor but i think you should go and see whats the problem, goodluck

for me it was anxiety... felt like ice picks in chest.

I hear a heart attack feels like an elephant sitting on your chest

Heart Attack Signs:
-Tightness in the chest
-Pain or numbness in the left arm
-Diffacultly breathing

Anxiety
Symptoms are about the same without the left arm pain. You might feel a little disoriented too.

Purple knuckles ?

It could be a cold injury that only shows up when cold. If you want more info go to www.webmd.com.

Peace
