Does anyone know why Sherpas don't get frostbite? |
Is there an actual medical explanation? Acclimitization? Better "Hunter's Response"...? Higher metabolism generating more body heat...? Sherpas get frostbites and sunburns, although seemingly not as frequent as white people. |
