Can putting ice on skin cause frostbite? |
just until it melts. like in the tongue until it melts? Depends how long it takes the ice to melt. nope. yes it can! Your mouth is safe becouse it is much warmer in your mouth. However applying ice to any exposed skin directly can cause tissue damage if left in place too long always have a protective cloth between the ice and your skin |
