Diet/nutrition to heal fractures faster? |
What diet or nutrition or herbs can a person take to heal fractures faster? I fractured my 4th & 5th metarcarpal bones - left hand after tripping over a metal rod. I am an acupuncturist and am nationally board certified in Chinese herbs. There is a formula called Jin Gu Die Shang Wan or Great Mender Teapills (Mayway brand) that is designed to help facilitate healing. I have had a lot of success with it in my clinic. You should see a licensed acupuncturist to get an evaluation but both herbs and acupuncture would be a great idea. Sorry about the fall! boneknit or comfrey that grows in my garden. It is not reccomended internally but if you talk to some mavericks they will tell you otherwise and tell some fantastic stories of healing with it. You can also make poultices of it externally and get great results also. Sorry. There is nothing that will make bones heal faster. |
