How long does it take for 5 fractures in your foot to properly heal?? |
i kickbox and i have had my cast on now for like 4 weeks. Its a walking cast so i can take it off at night..but i have 5 fractures in my foot, how long till i can be worry free and start kickboxing again?? i tried not wearing today and it hurts now...lol lesson learned...im getting tired of having it but i do want my bones to heal properly so i can get back in the ring! i fractured my foot and had a walking boot on for about 6 weeks. try not to rush it, give it another 2 weeks and see how you feel. It depends on your age (young people heal the fastest!), but when I fractured my ankle I had several weeks of physical therapy after the cast was removed before I was "normal" again. Be patient with yourself. You want it "to heal properly." That is the main focus right now. six weeks Hard to say exactly but these things can take a lot of time sometimes. Just take it easy and let it heal completely or you might damage it permanently. It could take up to 6 months for your foot completely heal (bone, muscles, and ligaments) to be able to kickbox again i dislocated my ankle n suffered two breaks when i was 14 during a soccer mtach against another school. i spent 4 week in a long leg cast n then 4 week in a short leg cast n 2 weeks in a walking cast. it took me about 4 months before i started playing again. |
