Does anyone know what kinds of fractures usually occur in a C1-C2 fracture?

Like, a hairline fracture, for instance?

I'm doing research for human bio and can't remember what kind of fracture my little brother suffered, and neither can my mother.

Most likely a Jefferson fracture,
You can also research vertebral fractures on the web.

c1-c2 are typically "blow-out" fractures, because of the great amount of force required to break these bone sin the first place. Best I can tell you!
