What are the signs for fractures?? |
like are there signs that it's fractured besides taking an x-ray? It depends on the bone. Some fractures are easier to detect than others. Yes, of course... IT HURTS !!! bruising and swelling Not always. Sometimes the affected limb will be floppy, or causing incredible pain or have swelling. I broke my wrist and didn't believe it until I saw the xray! Swelling around the break. Can't move hand, finger, etc. Deformity. Pain and swelling can be some. Also limited movement. But in the case of say impact fracture there might not be any or very vague symptoms. Xray is the best way of knowing for sure so there are no deformities and the bones can heal properly without ossifications. Good luck. classic signs of a fracture are pain, swelling and deformity. Bones coming out of the skin.... is it not obvious? compound fractures are easy to recognize. |
