How to prevent stress fractures/shin splints/pulled muscles???

To prevent stress fractures you have to make sure you have enough calcium in your diet and that you're careful when doing activities. And if you're the type of person that knows your bones are weak then be extra-extra careful then. I'm not really sure what shin splints are though. And as for pulled muscles go? Just make sure you stretch really well before doing activites such as running.

Most of these conditions are related to poor mechanics of your foot. I'd recommend you get evaluated by your nearest podiatrist and get fitted for custom arch supports (i.e. orthotics). This device that acts as your new insert inside your shoe can help control the abnormal motion in your foot and leg to prevent stress fractures, shin splints, and pulled muscles. A good walking/running shoe can also help but the orthotic is the key. Hope this helps!

Lots of strecthing before any physical exertion will help deter pulled muscles. Make sure you wear correct shoes when running to help prevent any shin splints, or stress fractures.
