Can someone Describe the three different types of pelvic fractures(Acute,Stress,& Avulsion.)?

acute = sudden onset, usually from traumatic injury

stress= from repeated weight bearing, tension or pressure to the region. Usually small and non-displaced

avulsion = bone pulls away from bone, usually from a shearing action. This is also used to describe a fracture where the cartilidge seperates and pulls the pelvic frame apart
