Mushrooms ????

well lately i just got into foster care and i've foud that i get a bit more freedom and my foster sisters have got me into the pot witch i don't think is bad at all but i was thinking of trying mushrooms just for a change and for people who have tried them what do you think of them, do you think it was worth it ?

oh tell me about your mushroom dreem too ! LOL

They're definitely very interesting to try a couple times! It's a pretty neat experience. Don't do them too much, though, or you'll turn into a weird ranting hippie who talks incessantly about mushrooms to people who don't care. :)

Anyways, as drugs go mushrooms are really pretty harmless physically, though if you have a bad trip it can be very psychologically stressful. The more you do the worse that can be... Don't do more than 2 or 3 grams your first time and you should be fine, and only do them with people you're completely comfortable with so you don't sketch out.

(Oh, to eat them... try chopping/crushing them up into little tiny bits, shaking them all up in a glass of water, then downing the water w/ floaty mushroom bits. Just like swallowing pills, you won't taste a thing!)

You guys are hiliarious. Try www.grimmbrosethno.com Report It

dont do em.

and give up pot.

agree w/first person

yeah, don't do them, i have heard of people getting so high on shrooms that they eat their own **** because they think it's good for 'em, and pot can also make you go crazy.

how old are you?

do something better with your time until you get to college. Then eat all the fantastic mushrooms you want. But not too many, cause they will kill you in too large doses.

But if you're in foster care, read a book, paint, write something, be constructive until you grow through that experience. drugs are only going to hold you in one place for a while. sometimes that's a nice thing, but if you're too young, you will f*ck your mind up forever.

College, dude, wait for college.

Recreational substances should be used in moderation. Hallucinogens are a big jump from pot. If you do try them, stay somewhere safe and surround yourself with things that won't upset you. These are things that will affect your experience. Everytime i eat mushrooms, the next day I tell myself "never again". Years later, I'd ask myself, how come i haven't eaten mushrooms in a while? I do again, and again tell myself never again. To see how hard you are "shrooming", an excellent gauge is to look at your hands. Normally you know what your hands look like. On shrooms your hands will be looking weirder and weirder depending on how hard you are shrooming. Plus they are yucky. They taste really gross to me. Some friends of mine don't mind the taste. I think this is the main thing that keeps me from trying them more often. So in conclusion, moderation and safety, especially for first time shroomers.

It's not for everyone.
1st of all, if you're under 18, don't try them because your brain is still developing and psilocybin will screw with your brain chemistry. If you're over 25, don't try them, because your life is too messed up for you to handle the deep introspection you're about to endeavor on. If you have a history of mental problems or even mild depression, don't even think about it.

Tripping falls into one of two extremes: it's either going to turn out really bad, or totally amazing. There is a VERY fine line between the two, and if it goes bad, it could ruin your life, and this is not an exaggeration. The wrong people, a bad environment, a stray bad thought, any number of things can send a trip into a downward spiral. And even one bad trip, or a good one for that matter, will totally change your outlook on life, or make you completely bonkers.

You should know that you don't need to trip to have a great experience or experiment with your creativity. Think about it, these experiences are unlocked by drugs, but that doesn't mean that's the only way to have them.
Frank Zappa, who I consider to be a musical genius and an immensely creative and free thinker, was completely against the use of drugs and never used them in his life.

In retrospect, it's really NOT WORTH THE RISK, even though I know people who did it a couple times (including myself) and went on with their lives as usual. However, anybody I know who did it habitually turned into a babbling freak, or worse.

If you must take, please keep it UNDER 2 grams DRY 1st time. This should last a few hours depending on your tolerance. 3-3.5 grams will give you a strong trip of 6 or more hours. All this also varies a little on the species of mushroom. Be smart and do all the research you can before using. You don't want to pick a poison shroom!

Chew on that before you chew a cap.
