Why isn't swelling going away from foot injury.? |
Due to some horseplay, I smacked my foot (top and toes area) and bruising and swelling resulted, unfortunately I never iced the swelling. Injury occurred about 10 days ago. Initially the pain was mild with some soreness and I could walk fine (assuming no broken bones). The swelling has not gone away and I'm worried that it may not. When I had surgery on my foot the Podiatrist told me to keep my foot elevated for 3 days...and take Motrin for the pain...it does something for the swelling as well. You really should go to your Dr and have it X-Rayed. Something just doesn't sound right. I'd rather be safe than sorry. IT WILL GIVE IT TIME go see a massage therapist they can take away the swelling |
