What do you do with a foot injury.?

I was at my job and i was driving those cars and i jumped out and my foot feel in a hole and it has been throbing and the pain is high. What should i do i need edvice.

It's probably best to see a doctor of the pain doesn't go away and swelling remains. I agree though, stay off it. One of the best ways to relieve foot pain is to elevate it. Lay on the couch or something and prop it up on pillows, making sure that is is higher than your head. This is what I was told to do when I broke a foot bone playing softball. It helps eleviate some of the pressure in the foot by making sure that the blood doesn't pool up inside it. Yea, ice packs are a good thing too- I go by the twenty minutes on, twenty minutes off routine.

Good luck!

Did you put ice packs on it and stay off of it and then go to dr as you might have broken a bone as there are more than 33 bones in the foot,

elevate it and ice it. if swelling doesn't go down see a doctor

if it's swollen around the ankle than you might have sprained it or you could have torn the ligament the first thing you should do is go to the ER and have a doctor examine your foot and if it's just sprained or you tore the ligament all he or she can do is wrap your foot in an ace bandage and to tell you to keep off your feet for a week or two but if it's broken than he will put a cast on it.

Ice it! Have you told employers - have to to protect yourself! See your dr., then you'll see theirs, either way, you have to seek medical attention.
