I've never had any type of foot/leg injury (luckily) although I've played sports my entire life...? |
But I seem to have twisted my ankle playing soccer and now part of my ankle has a large bump on it (my ankle isn't completely swollen) and i have an occasional shooting pain sometimes up to my knee. Is this normal or should I get it checked out? Get it checked. well of course this isn't normal. People don't just get a bump on their ankle for no reason! I am no doctor, but anyone in the right mind would get their ankle checked out if it had a bump on it and now and again it had shooting pain coming up it. I suggest u go and get it checked, there could be something seriously wrong with it. You should get it checked out. Because (I play Volleyball) if you have a shooting pain that usaly means that you wtisted something or streched or popped it out of place. I would ice it for a week or two, then if the swelling or anything doesnt go away, i would then get it checked out. dont do any sports, or you can further injure yourself. get alot of rest. |
