Ball of foot / Yoga Injury????????? Is this possible? |
OK - does this sound like a reasonable explanation? It does sound like you irritated or inflamed a muscle: you should not be risking it further with running until the pain is gone. I am not a physical therapist, but based on my own foot difficulties when hiking, etc. I would recommend that you take some anti-inflammatories (aspirin or ibuprofen: just regular dose), and try cooling the area with an ice pack for a few minutes, and keep it elevated for a while (say 2X each day for the next 2 days.) quite possibly it is swollen and strained. i would ease off of it and maybe elevate your foot and ice it. i have had this problem and that is my best suggestion for you. |
