Reputable Health Insurance for people with preexisting conditions?

My mother in-law, applied for health insurance on 3 of the biggest Health Insurance companies and she was turned down from all them, due to her preexisting health condition. (Something with her feet, can't think of the name of it). I was just wondering if any body knows of a Health Insurance company that would take people like her with preexisting conditions. Thanks in advance.

She wouldn't qualify for a goverment insurance plan, she makes good money.

Here are the rules for pre-existing conditions:

If your MIL gets a job that provides health insurance with her employment, they will cover her pre-existing conditions ONLY if she had health insurance coverage and can prove it within the previous 60 days prior to employment. If she didn't have insurance cover prior to that employment, her pre-existing conditions will probably not be covered for approximately 12 months. This is the law. It's called the HIPPA law. That law covers other areas including protecting confidentiality of her medical records.

Now, if you MIL in unemployed and plans to stay that way and can't be covered by a spouse's insurance, she may be forced to seek out public assistance for insurance.

A person who is unemployed in the United States who has an existing health problem has a very tough time getting health care in this country.

Not to bring politics into the question, but Democrats want to make health care universal for everyone whether they work or not or whether they have health conditions or not. You can make your voice count today by voting for a Democrat. They can help your MIL.

We are the richest nation in the whole world, but we don't provide health care for our weakest population. What does that say about out country?!

Good Luck!
Sincerely,
Robin_in_Tennessee

This is a discount plan, not insurance, but it's very affordable, from an awesome company, and will accept any preexisting health conditions. You can check it out at: http://www.everyonebenefits.com/LMota

easiest way is to work for an insurance company, they will cover pre-existing, otherwise its difficult to find an insurance company that will cover it, depends on your location too, some big companies will buy a blanket policy which will cover all their employees.

now if your just shopping around, it will be hard. good luck! insurance companies do not want to cover it because they will be paying out right away, and that is what they try not to do, and since your mother in law has pre-existing, its guaranteed they will have to pay out. Can always look into a government healthcare plan, but thats for lower income people.

http://myhealthbenefitsplus.com/40436527 It is only $49.95 per month and it covers all pre-existing conditions. There is no waiting period , use your benefits right away, and RX, labs, x-rays, office visits, etc. are covered. Click the box on the left for the new medical program, and get all the information

There's a company out there that helps people who do not have and need affordable health benefits. It includes regular office visits, any specialists and even pre-existing conditions. It basically includes everything you need help paying for. Their medical plan includes dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits as well. There's no high premiums, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, claims forms or anything like that at all. They can save you up to 80% on your out of pocket expenses for a very small fee every month. It could end up saving you a lot of $$ over traditional insurance. Try this website and you can check out the specifics and providers in your area. http://www.everyonebenefits.com/40424269... If your provider isn't on there, he can be added. They are a wonderful company and are members of the BBB. I have benefits through them as well. Hope you find what you need. Please email me if you have any questions, and I'd be happy to help you if I can. Best of luck.

Unfortunately, there鈥檚 not really such a thing as insurance for pre-existing conditions, but the good news is that it鈥檚 much easier to find help these days. Your mother-in-law鈥檚 best chance is to join a group health plan, such as one you get through work or state risk pool. She might also try support organizations for her condition. Needy Meds (link below) is a clearinghouse for such organizations. If she cannot find assistance, you can get free or discounted health care through free clinics and local county health departments (links below).

Group health insurance is less expensive than private insurance, and it鈥檚 easier to qualify for. However, the difference between group rates and individual rates is not as great as it used to be. To sum up:

鈥ou could get insurance through your place of employment.
鈥hrough a trade guild or association
鈥hrough a high risk pool, if you have a condition that has made it difficult to get insurance on your own (link below)
鈥f you鈥檙e a self-employed business owner, you might be eligible to be considered a 鈥済roup of one,鈥?depending on where you live. This would allow you to purchase insurance as a group instead of as an individual.
