Does wearing socks beyond one day cause health issues?

A couple weeks ago, I discovered my bf has a foot fetish. (see previous ? about this for details). From the kind of foot porn he has, it looks like he's into socks as well. So, I have an idea that when he gets back home (5 days), I'll ask him to come by my place and I'll greet him just wearing dirty socks. Hopefully it'll immediately get it across to him that I know his sexy, dirty little secret and that I like it.

What I'm wondering, though, is would wearing the same socks for 4 days straight cause any pediatric health issues? I do intend to take them off when I am asleep, and to still wash my feet when I shower.

I guess I have a second question as well. For people who indulge in a foot fetish, would the scent of 4 day wear socks be overwhelming? I don't want to wind up overwhelming my bf and knocking him out or anything. :D Thanks.

PS: No bloody trolling. I know the vast majority of you out there have problems with foot fetishes and think this stuff is gross. I KNOW! You don't need to clutter this question up with your dumb two word statements of disgust.

Tell him his feet need to breathe a little fresh air.And so do you.The socks need to be washed so take them off.You could tell him you miss seeing his sexy feet.

Five days seems excessive. You could develop foot fungus. I don't know much about the foot fetish thing, but I'm pretty sure a dude would rather lick clean toes...

i personally dont have a foot fetish -however - the scent of 4 day old socks is uanttractive to me -yes you can develop foot fugus and could possibly give him -or even yourself a fungal infection -what about the possibility of clean but stained socks ?

I would suggest not doing this, your feet should be only in clean socks and each time that you shower you should put on clean socks. This will only earn you foot problems otherwise. Besides have you smelled his feet after he has worn the same socks for 5 days. I wouldn't want to smell my husband's feet after a day of wearing the same socks. This is quite disgusting.

YES

4 days would be a bit long and may cause fungus issues. I would think the smell might at the very least bother your bf

I have no idea what you are talking about?

Lets see every male college student at some time or another has attempted to set sock endurance records of some sort. That includes me. I have also seen twenty years of service in the Army.

No, chances are wearing socks for 5 days will not create serious health issues, especially if you are bathing everyday. Although choice of socks can make a differance. My favorite sock endurance sock brand and type of choice are Smart Wool socks. They are not the typical wool socks you think of -- the itchy uncomfortable type. These socks are made of soft, water wicking marino wool. These socks will wick the persperation from you feet and keep you feet comfortable and just the right temperator for days at a time. They are the softest and will stay that way until you stop wearing them. I wear them in the winter and in the summer. I wear nothing but them. I have all colors. I even wear the white ones to the gym. I also cycle and wear marino wool jerseys on occaision. They are excellent for moisture control. Now back to the topic at hand.

Here is what you do - visit your local specialty shoe store in the mall that sells hiking shoes as they always have them. Again ask them to show you the Smart Wool selection. They come in many colors and are gorgious just to look at on the display. Choose a color that you like. Buy many pair as once you wear them you will develop the sock fetish. Myself I have three full drawers of socks.

Now, foot fetishes - there is nothing wrong with a nice well kept pair of feet to obcess over. Given all the body parts one can view "sexualy obcessive" - and if you realy look hard at them I guarantee -- if you realy judge them on how they appeal to all your senses I would say that feet would number 4 on the list as far worse as not appealing to ones senses.

A dirty sock fetish is a little weird! You probably increase your chances of getting athletes foot! And the order is gross!!!
