Help me please!! not sure about the nail infection but my hubby used scholl athlete's foot spray and it cleared up in a week!! it hasn't come back since. Again...Vics Vaporub. True! I promise! you need to go to a different doctor. Before you go to sleep, wash your feet and sponge them with Apple Cider Vinegar until it clears. Never wear the same pair of shoes 2 days in a row, allowing them a complete day to dry out internally. Before you put on your shoes spray the insides with Lysol Spray. Perrnanganate of Potash, diluted, is a very efficacious, fungicidal footbath. I am not sure if it is still easily available. Good luck. I had a similar problem several years ago and I had some tablets to take for 6 months. You have to take them for that long to ensure that all the infected nail has grown out as it would start to spread again if there was even a tiny bit left when you stopped taking the medicine. I can tell you a product called Lamisil works pretty well . I don't think there is a cure but this is the best product I have seen. definitely controls it. It's about 10 bucks for a pump spray or a tube. Worth every penny. 10% of the adult population of UK have fungal toenail infections. Most of these are Tinea Rubrum.
