I hurt my foot about 3 weeks ago and it still hurts!?

Hey everyone. I rolled my foot (if you know what I mean) but I rolled it more on my toes and the outside of my foot. I can move my toes and my foot isn't bruised but it still is a little swollen. I get sharp pains in my foot sometimes. I try to prop my foot up every time I'm sitting down. And I every once in a while put a heating pad on it but I have no health insurance so I don't want to the doctors and pay a lot. Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do and oh I was taking over the counter meds and it helped for a while but I think I'm use to them now b/c they don't help at all now. Thanks for your suggestions!!!

It sounds like a hairline fracture. you need an x-ray so they can make sure nothing is out of line. tylenol and keeping it up and keeping off it will help. other than that...time will take care of it.

go get it x rayed !

keep doing what you are doing it will get well, healing takes time

the best thing you could do is try to find someone you could help you out with the problem, and if that don't work you eventually have to go visit a doctor, because this could be real serious. right now don't think to much about the money. your body part is more important in this case.

Could be a small fracture. Try to stay off of it as much as possible (I know that's probably not easy to do.) Anti-inflammatories like Advil or Aleve might help also.
