Hello, does anyone know what are the long term effects of clubbed foot disorder?

I was born with bilateral clubbed feet, I recieved corrective treatment when a child and am now 23 years old. Some days I can hardly walk with the stiffness in my feet, i wonder if this is normal, I read about proffesional sports stars who were born with clubbed feet and I wonder how they can do anything with their feet, I'm terrified that my tendons are tightening again and that the feet may club again, is this possible? This causes me so much bother, is there exercises I should be doing?

My husband and his sister were both born with club feet. My husband's feet were also completely turned in, similar to a plie in ballet. Both were treated as infants; neither have any long-term issues.

You really need to see your doctor about this. According to the Mayo Clinic, you shouldn't be having any issues as an adult if you had surgery as a child. They may refer you to a physical therapist, who would be the one to give you corrective exercises. The only way to find out what's going on, is to see your doctor though.
