My Friend Thinks I Have An Eating Disorder but I don't know why!? |
My bff thinks I have an eating disorder but I don't! Its not like I don't eat! Today I had a salad and a diet coke! Thats more than enough! What can I say, I like to work out after I eat to lose the calories!!! Is that bad? I can't help it that when I look it the mirror I am ashamed of how I look! I hate my stomach! I feel very uncomfortable when I'm at the beach and people always tell me I'm skinny but for some reason I just don't believe them! I am 5 foot 3.5 and weigh 121 pounds...I mean that is fat so I'm tired of everyone telling me that 121 pounds is a good weight! I won't be happy until I am down to 105! Who do you agree with? Me or my friend? btw i'm 17! Your friend. If all you had was a salad and a diet coke and then you felt a compulsion to go to the gym and burn off those very minimal calories, then yes, you have an eating disorder. You shouldn't be that ashamed about your body. sorry but i agree with your friends. thats the average weight for your height. if you keep losing weight its going to hurt your body and you wont get all the nutrients you need. a salad and a diet coke? you need 3 meals a day at least. thats not enough to keep your body going. your not fat. i think maybe you should go and get some therapy for how you view yourself, because it seems like your starting to get an eating disorder. Your friend is right to be concerned. You should be around 1500+ per day; a salad and a diet coke is not enough. You are underweight. Wow, you expect people to say its something not wrong with you, i was going to say "oh it's nothing wrong with you", until you put i'm 17!!!...you should be like that when you are like 13 yrs old not 17....go on the Tyra Banks show and ask heR to give you a makeover & some special K so you can gain some weight because that doesn't look good or sound good!...& that's what i truly think, start eating NOW! Are you kidding? Is this a parody, or are you serious? Yes you have an eating disorder. i think you should see a counselor! they will help you get back and make you realize that you are beautiful and healthy as you are! good luck and please eat! you are sick and you need professional help you're friend, if you reseach normal weights for 17 year olds, it's not going to be 107lbs. so i hope ur friend wins in the contest. |
