I cant go :( I have been constipated for 6 days and i am only 14?

Ok..... so long story short. I am 14 5 foot 6 100 lbs and my mom thought i had an eating disorder of some sort because i dont eat that much bc i am not hungrey often. But anyways i used to laxatives and they worked and i would take them once every two weeks. (which means i would only get to go once every two weeks) =( and now my mom thinks i used them to loose weight. Trust me tried to get her to believe me but it didnt work.
So anyways i havent gone in 6 days and i starting crying today on the pot bc i couldnt go. PLEASE help me with foods that will make me go i am in SOOOOO much pain. Thanks

Perhaps you need more fibre and roughage which means more fruit and vegetables for fiber and roughage and also bread, cereals, muesli and pasta for fiber.

Red meat and eggs are probably the worst for clogging you up. Perhaps that is your problem.

Bingeing on prunes, mandarins or oranges for a few days is good for a quick fix.

You should talk to your doctor. Using a laxative w\o a doctors reason isn't all that safe. Going to the doctors, he\she can prescribe a stronger laxative to help you, "Go."

Pleeeaaase get to your doctor. He or she can help.

Evaluate yourself to be sure you do not have an eating disorder. This may be something that only a doctor can help you with.

Good luck.

hello! yes i have also had this problem...

I recommend you eat a lot of foods with HIGH FIBRE. check on the packs to see how mush there is per serving. anything over 3 grams is good. museli bars are good, white bread is not. eat brown or multigrain bread (the grainier the better!)

also, drink a lot of water, at LEAST eight glasses a day. this helps you to flush things through your body.

I hope these help- they helped for me!

prune juice,spinach,whitecastles,greasy food.

drink plum juice!!!!

make sure you drink a lot of water, 8 glasses or more a day. eat lots of fruits and vegetables too. yogurt is also good. but make sure you drink the water!

I'm sorry you're in pain. Stay away from milk, cheese, and yogurt for a while. Try to drink some warm water and try walking around for a little while. This can help get things moving. If you haven't gone by morning you need!!!!! to see a doctor!!!!! Please I know from family that it has been too long and there could be obstruction and you need medical help with that. Please let us know how things go.

Honey, I'm so sorry you are having so much pain and constipation! I have 6 kids and when they have had problems "going" I gave them prunes to eat and that always did the trick. However, this sounds like a bigger problem than an occasional back up. I would ask your mom to take you to the doctor, there are medication you can take to help with this if it is an on going thing. If your mom is reluctant, have her read this. I think she will understand if she sees that you have sought help on the Internet after you went to her. Back ups can get very severe. My 18 year old niece was so backed up she went to the ER and they said she had 9 pounds of "poop" in her. She was in a lot of pain. They set her up to see a doctor who helped her get things going and now she goes regularly. Seriously, see a Dr. soon!!
God Bless

drink water,at least 8 glasses daily, and lay off the soda. Try prune juice or cranberry juice. dont use laxatives or else u will permanently become dependent on them, which could lead to other severe complications.

hope u feel better soon!

eat more. definitely eat more fiber. think about it, if you don't eat a lot at all, there's nothing to come out.

All of the suggestions about prune juice and fiber are correct but you currently have a problem that can effect your health. You need to be seen by a doctor.

Medically speaking, constipation usually is defined as fewer than three bowel movements per week. Severe constipation is defined as less than one bowel movement per week.

Constipation also requires an immediate assessment if it is accompanied by worrisome symptoms such as rectal bleeding, abdominal pain and cramps, nausea and vomiting, and involuntary weight loss.

Regular use of laxatives can actually cause injury to the colon and/or worsen constipation.

Your mom needs to take you to the doctor to evaluate your constipation.

Good Luck

night consume more papaya, banana's and drink water as much as possible

(simple thing try indian veg curry and dosa it makes eeeeeeeeasy)

Sorry to hear your constipated or maybe
inpacted from not going number 2,you
should go to the doctors a.s.a.p your only 14 and you shouldn,t be in this
condition,if your two shy to go to the
doctors, you should ask your mom to
give you a couple plain warm water
enemas to clean you out, then start
following what the others have told you
you not to old/young to be given home
enemas either from a enema bag or a bulb syringe, but a enema(s) will clear
up your problem, i,m sure your mom
has seen your bum many times
before today so there is no need to be shy or embarassed for your mom to
clean you out,if you ended up in the
hospital no doubt they would give you
enemas until clear, trust me all you
need is a couple plain warm water enemas at home,it,s one of the best
and oldest treatments still used today
to clear up constipation!

As other callers have said, it's gotten to the stage where you definitely need an enema. If this entails a visit to the local hospital, it's nothing to be embarrassed about - there are more young/not-so-old people than you may know who have to undergo this on a weekly basis.
