I might have an eating disorder... or getting one...? |
I'm a little worried. I've always been concious about my body, but recently it's gotten worse. I started dieting and exercising. I'm five feet tall and I weigh 116 pounds. The thing is, I know I'm not FAT, but I still want to lose weight. I think I'm fat, even though I know I'm not from a medical standpoint. I'm a teenager, btw. I've also had two loved ones die in the past 1 1/2 years. I feel guilty when I eat a lot of sweets, and I'm never satisfied with myself. There have been times where I ALMOST made myself throw up, then stopped myself. I thought I was okay, but I've started feeling bad really about myself again. I feel like everyone expects me to be perfect. Could I be developing and eating disorder? What should I do (besides talking to my parents)? TAKE A CHILL PILL YOU SOUND PERFECT FOR ME, PLEASE DONT CARE TO MUCH ABOUT WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT FAT GIRLS THERE AINT NOTHING WRONG WT GAINING A LITTLE WEIGHT YOU KNOW, BUT YOU SOUND JUST ON THE DOT, YOU DONT WANT TO LOOSE TO MUCH WEIGHT BECAUSE THEN YOU REALLY GOING TO LOOK UGLY!! GOOD LUCK, ENJOY YOUR LIFE....... Sit down with the school nurse and have a nice chat. I would have thought it's perfectly normal to feel guilty after eating a lot of sweets. I would see a doctor and tell the doctor your concerns/ sound like you need a friend some one who will only give you positive advice not a bunch of negative crap ... i really don't see why people treat others this way or see people like this and try not to help ! you have to get in control of your life now or you will have a hard road to go later you don't need to let people say such awful thing s about you ...when one says some thing negative to you think positive no matter what . it works believe me i do it every day!good luck sweety ! hang in there ! your going to be all right! Teens and school kids are being targetted by vicious sales campaigns by junk food companies. McDonalds for instance. Want to know why the food there is more addictive than other burger places? They add extra sugar to their bread and other Mc products, so you will get addicted (when Christ returns, I intend to request a bull dozer and go to work on these places - lol. |
