Do you drink diet soda? Aspartame causes cancer in lab rats...will you continue to drink poison? |
U.S. consumer group called for an urgent Food and Drug Administration review of the safety of aspartame on Monday, but the FDA said there was no immediate need to do so despite a new study showing the sweetener may cause cancer. additional info: Japan does not allow diet coke or others into the country with aspartame in it. they must reformulate the soda. i dont touch soda- any kind of soda is gross to me; i warned people who i know who love diet sodas about the danger of asparthame and they dont seem to care so too bad for them. I cant believe they allow that crap to be put in soda. ha i drank coca cola and pepsi and i am skinny very skinny, its not soda that is the cause of most obesity. i know all the risks, and yet i still drink it, and splenda in my coffee. But your information will make me think three times instead of two before drinking it I will remember to not give diet soda to my rats running around in my house I hardly ever drink aspartame because I can't stand the taste. As for the study in the lab rats, I thought that the dosage of the product they were given was much higher than what is used for human consumption. Either way it's something to make one think about whether or not to drink it. we would have to eat 50 pounds of aspartame a day to equal the amount given to lab rats a day Just about everything we eat/drink contains chemicals that are unhealthy, hell I even eat school food. I am allergic to artificial sweeteners so I only have things that have real sugar or natural sugars in it. its a deadly poison but unfortunately there are many false studies to safe that aspartame is safe. just like chlorine and flouride and now ammonia are also safe in public water supplies. yes very safe! |
