Food allergy?

knowing food allergy (seafood) are usually inherit from parents, but is it contagious throught someone with food allergy scratches another people skin?

No food allergies are not contagious. However, in blood transfusions, an allergic persons antibodies are in the blood so until that blood dies and is replaced by the hosts non-allergenic blood the host may react to the allergies of the person who donated the blood. But the allergy should not be permanent.

I have heard though that tissue donors, such as those receiving organs from allergic donors, do have permanent allergies on receipt of the organ. But then there's a whole organ in them all the time that is allergic to things. (and honestly, death vs having to avoid peanuts should be a fairly easy choice)

But you don't have to worry about contact with someone who has allergies, as you won't catch it. You'd have to have some major surgery before it even became a problem.

No, I don't think it is contagious at all. Allergies are not contagious from person to person, they only come from close contact or ingestion of what you are allergic to.

You will not be infected if you scratch someone who is suffering from allergy. Be careful however. He or she may have other skin diseases you do not wish to contract.

scary? air contagous? how about somepeople with allergy scratchs the another? how about kissing? etc
