I think I have a food allergy?

I think I have a food allergy? I want to be sure before going to a doctor, because it may just be in my head.

do you have any rashes or feel like you cant breath when you eat this food?

The only way to know for sure is to go to the doctor. If you've been tracking to see what affects you, and you have this written down, also bring that with you. Doctors need this information. If they have it when you go, you might not have to make that second trip just to give them that info. My son figured out on his own that he gets sick feeling whenever he takes in a dairy product. We never went to the doctor, but as long as he avoids it, he's okay.

Are you sure? Only 1 in 10 teenagers in a new survey who thought they had a food allergy actually had one. Most teenagers avoid particular foods because they thought they were allergic. But skin tests and other tests showed that only few actually had an allergy.
Some said they didn't have a problem with certain foods, but avoided them anyway.
The most common problem foods were peanuts, milk and dairy products, wheat and fish.
Experts said that we talk about allergies more, which is good for those who have them, but that this has led many people to mistakenly believe that they, or their children, have an allergy. So be sure before you consult a doctor. You can find a solution to your doubts here

Well, this should depends with the type of food you are allergic to, unless you are starting to suffer from anorexia, being so particular withyour weight such that it kinda affects your overall mentality on food. And if buy any chance you have not changed your eating habits of late or probably your locality then there is no cause for alarm. If the symptoms persist then you can see a medical doctor
