Are hydrolized and autolyzed proteins in food safe to eat?

Or are these food additives really no different health-wise than MSG?

I think they can be useful on special occasions with people who suffer of particular problems with digestion.
Whole foods and fresh fruit and vegetables combined with the right amount of carbo and proteins are the best solution
.

No, they're not safe to eat. You are correct, they are a different way to say "MSG". Plus, any time you process a food, it loses nutritional value and detracts from your health. Better to stick to whole foods that haven't been tampered with and processed to death.
