Are there any supplements to help you gain weight back quickly?

I'm 5'5'' and only weigh 100 pounds my BMI is 16.6; well under the minimum of 18.5. I had major surgery to correct a bone defect in my chest about 3 weeks ago, while I was in the hospital I lost about 15 pounds because the dietician didn't pay attention when I told her that certain food additives (commonly found in pre-packaged sauces) make me extremely sick to my stomach. I spent the whole week puking my guts out; no one at the hospital ever brought me food that I could eat, not even a bottle of ensure to keep my caloric intake up.

I've always had trouble gaining weight and right now I'm eating about 1500 calories a day from meals plus an additional 500 from Carnation Instant Breakfast shakes but I can't seem to even gain a pound. Is there any easy way to do this? My husband is pretty freaked out because you can literally see every bone in my torso. A friend of his was over this weekend and actually asked him if I had an eating disorder. This is really bad!

In my opinion the best one is a weight gainer supplement. It is loaded with carbs and protein.
