How much am I supposed to weigh?


Am am 13, almost 5 ft 1 in, and my weight varies week to week. Mostly it has been 85-90 pounds, but now I am a few pounds over 90, which to me feels fat. I want to go on a diet, or at least not be tempted over the weekends and holidays to eat brownies and cookies and etc.

My house is filled with mostly "good-for-you", healthy, no fat, no additives, all-natural food, but I want to "trim" this fat I have gotten from over Christmas Vacation, but for some reason I cant.

I exercise alot, and I am eating right, even eating a little less. I dont want to become anorexic, but then again, I KINDA want to on a lower level (have more self-control and eat only when neccesary). Please dont go all guru on me and tell me "I dont need to", "clean out your kitchen and fill it with healthy foods".

For some reason, if i go without lunch for a day, Im a twig, and if I eat a bunch of cookies, immeadiately im a sumo wrestler (and after I eat, in like 10 minutes after, I need to go to the bathroom. I dont want ppl to think im bulimic).

Seriously! is there something wrong with my digestive system that i get thin and fat quickly, and that I need to use the bathroom!

And is it wrong (after eating alot) to think about throwing it up? Im not bulimic, and I dont want to be, but i wish i could have not eaten so much, or get rid of it....

IN A NUTSHELL: How much am i supposed to weigh? What are some safe diets i should use?

finally somebody like me! i am 13, 5'2 and i weigh 93-94 pounds, pple say im light, but i still wanna get skinnier...u r fine..........i just got a hecka flatter stomach in about 2 weeks...this is wut i did............i turned on music and i jogged in place through the whole song...then i turned on another song and did sit-ups the whole time....i drink a lot of cranberry juice (it fills you up so u rnt as hungry) and a lot of water....i tried 2 eat mostly stuff under 100 calories....and it worked great! dont focus too much on eating tho, just focus on exercising

You sound a lil big...I'd go to a nutritionist.

Although, I particularly don't agree with BMI's most of the time, they can be quiet helpful.

The reason why I do not agree with them, is because everyone is shaped differently, some people might be what we call "bigger boned" or "small built" than others, which will lead to the BMI misleading people and lead them to believe they are either underweight or over weight, when really it's just the size of their body and how they are built.

But you don't sound overweight at all.

But it is still good to maintain a healthy diet and eat right no matter what you weigh, due to health problems that can occur in the future from not taking care of your body.

shes about 80lbs and its disgustingly skinny
youre skinny and thats a perfect weight for you
you can even gain a few pounds and still be considered skinny
