Folliculitis help.? |
At the end of last year I had itching, I went to doctor, he said I have infected eczema, I have been taking garlic & figuring out what might have caused the eczema (to get rid of the cause, not just the problem). I found out that getting hot or sweaty makes me itch like mad. I don't think it's a food allergy or any other allergy, but I remembered recently that I had what felt like an insect bite on my lower back before the "eczema" started, I remember scratching my arms also after scratching it. So after looking online at loads of info & photos, I'm pretty sure its folliculitis, I am going to go to the doctor asap but the earliest I can go is Thursday. I have had a few of these puss filled spots on my face (very tiny in size), so from what I've read you should treat it asap. I want to know what can I do before Thursday to fight the folliculitis (preferably natural things/foods/supplements as I am into healthy eating & natural solutions). I have had these puss filled spots appearing on my arms when I get hot. They can itch sometimes. Hi Galic Healer Lots of useful info, Thanks. Report It I had the exact same thing on my face, more on my chin and upper lip, they look like tiny zits right? And only a little puss comes out. But they keep coming back. I did the same thing and went to the doctor. However it three times for them to figure it out. Once they finally figured out that it was indeed folliculitis, they prescribed me an antibiotic. Sorry, not sure which one it was. After two days of the antibiotics, it started to go away. However, to answer your question, they won't go away until you get the antibiotic. It's like having strep throat. Your body doesn't get rid of it, until you get the proper antibiotic. I'm sorry that this happened to you. I understand the embarrassment of it being on your face. It sucks. Hang in there until Thursday, and know that you're on your way to getting rid of this crap. |
