Does this sound like Folliculitis? |
Hello. Over the past few weeks I have had small, pimple-like bumps forming in my groin region. At first I was very nervous, thinking it was Genital Herpes. However, as I did more research I found that that was probably not the case, mainly since they are all situated on the hair follicules in my groin. it is an inflamed hair follicle or otherwise called an ingrown hair. where it is not serious, it can get painful if it gets infected. try using neosporin on it (make sure it gets covered, will ruin clothing) and keep hair well groomed (if you shave make sure you keep it up or if you don't make sure it is groomed b/c longer hair gets pulled in underwear and can cause this to happen) |
