Folliculitis or genital herpes? |
I starting dating a guy who recently got out of a long term relationship because his girlfriend cheated. He noticed some "pimples" on his penis and went to the doctor, who in turn told him it was folliculitis (I saw the paperwork and the medication that was prescribed). His lesions are painful for him when touched or after sex. Well, I now have a small patch of blisters on my groin/thigh. They aren't painful, but they are annoying when it comes to walking. Could he have been misdiagnosed, and his "pimples" were actually genital herpes? His symptoms showed up about 2 weeks before mine did, and we have been using condoms... if i was you i would go and get tested....it is something that ppl should do anyways when they have sex no matter if you use a condom....it is always better to be safe then sorry...i am not a doctor so i cant tell you what it maybe..so many diseases have the same syptoms...so go and get checked.... i had that before its not herps they will eventually go away stop worrying |
