Help! I may have Folliculitis :(? |
I started discovering I had Folliculitis. But I'm not sure what type of it.But it started like almost 4 weeks ago. When it first came out,There were alot of Red little rash on my pubic area, but none on the inside of my vagina, then a few days later I started itchingg.I really don't know How I got it, but It might be because of wearing tight clothes (I also have Strech marks on some parts of my body that develope a long time ago) or it might be a certain Product I'm alergic to that I don't know.I Started using "Olay" soap , and I usually use Dove. When I started using it thats when I started seeing these red spots. But Since then I stopped using Olay and I started using Dove again, and this time its been 2 or 1 weeks pass and the "Folliculitis" is redusing, I notice that there are a few left and I'm not Itching anymore.I know my father is Allergic to Chicken, but I don't know.Do you think I should still continue to use my Anti-bacterial soap until it goes away?what do u think I should do? I had a Friend who Used Olay too and she started getting itchy, but she stopped to and i went away. I was wondering what would be the best medicine that would be gentle for me, because it isnt serious. Folliculitis is usually caused by and allergic reaction, shaving or bacteria on the skin. You don't say what kind of water you use whether it is public or well water. Well water tends to be more contaminated and the people usually don't test the water enough to know because it is expesive. Stretch marks have nothing to do with it or tight clothes. Sweating and allergy does though. It sounds like it was an allergic reaction to the change in soap, if you are shaving there, use a mild moisturizing shave lotion ,dry completely and continue to use present soap. If there is allergy in the family, its a safe bet it was an allergic reaction to the change. Geesh ! of all that you didn't mention "what" you had for dinner today ??? stop shaving, if you are. use a dipilatory.[sp.?] OK the first thing you need to do is get a medical opinion. Seek out the advice of a doctor and see what they suggest for you to do. Then you can do what they say or not!!!! It's up too you! It's your body!!!! If you want the constant pain/discomfort of itching it's up too you. If you decide to see a doctor and follow there advise. You will probably feel better. Also you could talk too your local pharmacies. Good luck!! |
