What's an effective cure for folliculitis?

Had fire burns @ the back of my head. It healed after an initial infection but left these bumps which the dermatologist refers to as folliculitis.

Here is a site from the Mayo Clinic. There is a section for "Ask a Specialist" if you have further questions. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/follicu...

The bumps are the folliculitis. Each bump is a hair follicle that is infected. Your dermatologist may have done tests to find out if it is a staph infection or a bacterial infection. They both require an antibiotic. In some cases a corticosteroids or an antifungal is required for treatment. It all depends on the cause of the infection.
