i am 62 years old and for the past couple i have had a scalp problem .the first detre. said searbrric dermatitis. the second dr, said folliculitis. i followed all directions from both dr's now have the same problems--only worse --called nurse at dr. office she said [ shingles- what are the signs and systems of shinkles--can it be just scalp only. what is the treatment-- thank you shingles follow a nerve, so they will ussually be all in a line or group. they look like a cluster of blisters, and they itch, if you itch them then they burn, they will start to cause alot of pain the longer you have them. If you have had them for a while it is probably to late for antiviral meds, so you will have to let them run their course. It is a virus, (chicken pox) so it will take time to heal, I belive 7-10 days. |
