Teen with folliculitis?

I'm 15 and I'm pretty sure I have folliculitis. I think it's humiliating and really anoying! I envy other women because they all seem to have the clear 'airbrushed' type legs! HELP!

The problem is that I keep on picking at the red bumps but I always end up making scars instead. Anyone have any tips or anything on how to make it all go away? How common is this 'condition' anyhow?

Lufa's and hydrating creams don't seem to work and I hate putting them on because I'm not that type of person with a routine so.

I don't know exactly what that is but I have somethin similar on my thighs. These red bumps come out in the winter and they're really annoying!
I just moisturize my legs, drink lots of water and thats about it.
