Does anyone have a home remedy for folliculitis? |
I have folliculitis on my arms, stomach and breasts and I would like to get rid of them naturally. I was on an antibiotic but my doctor doesn't want me to take another round. I am also a type 2 diabetic. So I am prone to getting this hideous skin condition. I just want to get rid of this without going on expensive medicine as I am on a limited income. You need to see a specialized dermatologist. They will be able to help you more than your regular physician. Have you tried epsom salt baths? I know they help with folliculitis...and according to the information on the site below (see the list of benefits *below* the products listed), it's fine for diabetics to use. You can buy it at just about any drug store and it's pretty cheap. MANGOSTEEN.......contact me by email thru here and I'll lead you to information. Many doctors are now recognizing mangosteen juice and are using it to help counter the effects of skin conditions and many other health challenges. All natural, fully patented and it tastes fantastic! Mangosteen juice is the fastest growing health supplement in history. Helps to rebuild the immune system on a cellular and molecular level, which is the basis for good health. the best thing is to shower in the am and pm and do not sit around and 'be sweaty" if you can help it. i get the same thing but on my bottom if i do not shower twice per day especially during the summer months or when i work out a lot. I used to have to take antibiotics too but really it is a matter of how your system works. just keep yourself very clean and dry and wear comfortable clothing, smiles, jessica I have folliculitis myself and so far I haven't found any remedies that completely gets rid of them but I am currently trying a antiseptic cream with tea tree oil. Antibiotics haven't worked for me in fact it makes it worse. You can try something with tea tree oil in it (either antiseptic oils, creams, lotions, etc.) to help. So far it is working great and best of all it is natural so it won't irritate your skin. Also try either Dove, Basis, or Dial antibacterial soaps and wash your clothes and bedding alot. Hopes this helps, good luck. |
