I have Folliculitis under my arm because of shaving.. and the pimple just wont go away?!? |
I exceptionnally used a shaver to remove my underarm har the other week.. the result was a huge, painful pimple at that area when the hair started to grow.. i kept on putting Fucidin H on a regular basis, and the pain went away, but the pimple is still here! i just feel it when i touch that area, but other than that it doesnt bother me.. what can i do to make it go away? My mom is a dermatologist so I have some knowledge for this. You probably have an ingrown hair under the skin so dont pick or pop, place a warm/hot washcloth on your underarm everyday for like 10 minutes until you can see the hair and gently tweeze it out and put the hot towel back on to keep from swelling and irritation. Use an anti-inflammatory medicine or cream after you shave. and a fragrance free deodorant, try the crystal (looks like a crystal ball) deodorant, it works well to keep you from sweating and it doesnt contain any harsh chemicals to irritate your skin. i had it on my face and doctor gave me medicinre which cleared it up Sounds like an ingrown hair use tweezers to locate it pull that bad boy! it is an ingrown hair. You need to get the hair out! See a doctor. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://tinyurl.com/ob6tt There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html |
