Scalp folliculitis..What do you do?!? |
For those who do not know, this is kinda like acne on your scalp..red-inflamed, small, pus-filled pimple on the scalp! I've had this problem for years - wasn't really a problem until recently when I got a short haircut! This is what my doctor told me: the oil is produced naturally by your hair, and shampooing removes the oil - therefore prompting your scalp to produce more oil. The bottom line is the more you wash your hair, the more oil your scalp produces! So try washing your hair only once a day. Report It Try tea tree oil shampoo HydroCortisone Cream is your answer my man! Also, you may want to make sure that your hair products are not alcohol based or they are completely alcohol free. When you have hair and scalp conditions, hair products containing alcohol tend to make the situation much worse. |
