Has anyone heard of pityrosporum folliculitis? |
If so what treatments did you find to be effective? Its when yeast gets down underneath your hair follicles and causes an infection. May look like tiny pimples. They mostly use antibiotics to cure. Can be caused by to tight clothing, oil-like or coconut oil sunscreen, oral steroids, oral contraceptives, being a larger person (sweat and moisture is harder is dry especially in the folds of the skin), etc. Picking or popping will make it worse. Also a main cause of why some facial acne won't go away. Actually antibiotics aggrevate and causes more yeast to grow. |
