What is the difference between MRSA and folliculitis (aka Hot Tub Rash)?

Also, how can you tel the difference? Can you only tell by a test given by a doctor?

Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing, blockage of the follicle, or shaving. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).
Barber's itch is a staph infection of the hair follicles in the beard area of the face, usually the upper lip.
MRSA is a drug resistant staphylococcus bacteria. Patients with Staphylococcus aureus infection, on average, had three times the length of hospital stay (14.3 vs. 4.5 days), incurred three times the total cost ($48,824 vs $14,141), and experienced five times the risk of in-hospital death (11.2% vs 2.3%) than inpatients without this infection. MRSA need not necessarily be an hospital acquired infection. It can be a community acquired infection.

Folliculitis is basically whiteheads, a minor infection in the hair follicle.

MRSA is a drug-resistant bacteria that causes horrible lesions and can kill you.
