Yeast & fungus causing this acne on my face?!?

I have had a major problem with acne for the longest time. I went to a dermatolgist, and she said it could very possibly be a fungal infection called pityrosporum folliculitis that is on my face that imitates acne. That's why, she said, none of the acne creams has worked for me. So, she prescribed Oxystat. Anyone heard of it? Anyone have this infection as well?

I haven't had acne, but have had many problems with eczema caused by yeast infections in the bloodstream (according to Naturopathic physicians). As you have already gone to such lengths with the usual medical route, why not look into an alternative solution? There is a product called "Yeast Fighters" which is available without prescription. You can find it at the health food store. I haven't heard of Oxystat, & I hope it works for you...but in the long run perhaps getting to the source & removing it will eliminate the need for dermatologists & acne creams forever.
