Bad result after shaving? |
Several months back, I decided to shave down low and soon after had bumps appear. I've had razor burn before, so it's not that. The bumps are small, don't itch or cause pain. They're pretty much the color of my skin, some darker than others. I've had a doctor give me Bactroben Cream as he assumed the problem was just folliculitis, but the cream had no effect. This whole thing is just annoying as nothing seems to work. Anyone have any ideas or had similar after-effects from shaving the genital area? You have sensitive skin - stop shaving! always use aftershave Sounds to me like you might have some ingrown hairs. My wife and I both shave ( It makes the sex that much more sensual) and it seems to be a common problem among some people that shave. I don't think there is anything that you can really do about it. I would suggest using good shaving cream. Some of them even say that they prevent ingrown hairs also you need to use a sharp razor dull ones just make the problem worse. Also I would never recommend using aftershave down there that would would be like pouring rubbing alcohol into an open cut. i've been shaved downthere for several years now. when i first started shaving my genitals i experienced the razor burn and bumps you mention in your question. here are some helpful suggestions that might do the trick for you. Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. might be ingrown hairs or just the way your body reacted to being shaved. Nothing to be worried about. |
