Dermatalogists and Skin Specialists please help.?

I would like to know if anyone has experienced the following. This summer after being at the beach for an hour or so I noticed a few days later two small bumps on the back of my neck. The bumps turned red but it was not like a pimple there was no pus in it ever it broke to where it looked like a small crater/blister and has now scarred after healing. I've since gone to the beach and pool about 5 times and two more appeared on the back of my shoulder and the same thing happened first a bump then it breaks by itself no pus and then it scars. I went to a dermatalogist who was very unhelpful he said I had folliculitis and just threw a prescription at me after doing research I figured I didn't have folliculitis since folliculitis involves an infection around a hair follicule and this is not the case. Now 3 other small little blisters or whatever they are have appeared on my left arm. Could it be acne without a head? Or a Sun Blister? I need home remedies or advice please. Thanks.

Thanks for the link but that is definitely not what I have my bumps are isolated. Maybe 1 or 2 in the area but not so close together it might just be a sun rash or something who knows.

Spa pool folliculitis, also known as 鈥榟ot tub folliculitis鈥?or 鈥榩seudomonas folliculitis鈥? is a skin condition that arises hours to a few days after bathing in inadequately disinfected warm water, such as a spa pool, jacuzzi or swimming pool. It may affect several exposed individuals.

The result is an eruption of scattered small red itchy or tender bumps, some of which are pustular. They mainly occur in areas that were covered by the swimming costume.

Rarely, some people with spa pool folliculitis feel unwell. They may have earache, sore throat, nausea and vomiting, headache and/or mild fever.

Basically it is what the doctor said it is just that there are many types of folliculitis. It is because where you are swimming at has a bacteria that your bosy doesn't fight off well. See that site and see if the pictures are what you have.
