Folic Acid and B-Complex question....? |
I want to start taking B-complex for stress. I already take a multi-vitamin that contains folic. I was told to be careful with the folic. So, how much folic acid is TOO much? And are there any other "over-dosing" issues I should be concerned about? Too much is 1000 micrograms a day (which is one miligram). take no more than 800 mcg (micrograms) of Folic acid a day, and as far as B12 and B6 (which is the kind you need usually) B12 is only 8mcg and B6 is 2-3 mg a day! |
