Can taking Folic Acid induce menstruation? |
I started taking Folic Acid about 2 weeks ago, and about a week ago I got my period for the second time this month!! Is anyone familiar with this being a possible side effect of Folic Acid? As far as I know Folic Acid helps cells when it comes to division, which makes it particularly important during pregnancy, however I had never heard of it affected menstruation. My advice would be to just see if next month the same thing happens again, chances are it could just be the impact of the Folic Acid supplements, or it could be unrelated ^^ |
