How much folic acid does the human adult need daily? |
Could someone give me this answer in miligrams please? I'm taking folic acid supplements and was wandering whether it was possible to over-dose on it? The recommended daily dose is 0.4-1 mg for all women of childbearing age. Don't worry about over dosing, you would have to take a huge amount to OD. Any unused portion is simply excreted by your body.
