Is it possible to take too much Folic Acid? |
I didn't realize that my multivitamin contained 800 mcg of folic acid because the label had gotten wet & come partially off. I bought a folic acid suppliment (I'm planning on a pregnancy shortly) that also contains 800mcgs & have been taking them both for 2 weeks. Is it possible to have too much fa? I had been taking the vitamins for around 4 months, just started the fa 2 weeks ago...both *together* for 2 weeks 2 or 3 mg. daily is quite good dose but not endlessly. In everything, the key is Moderation! |
